If Meta Property Developments fails, neither the company – nor Simple Crowdfunding, will pay back your investment.

You are unlikely to get your money back quickly. Even if the property developer has been successful in the past, property projects can overrun which can extend the length of time your funds are tied up in the investment.

Meta Property Developments and Simple Crowdfunding does not offer a secondary market. While another investor may be interested in buying your investment, there is no guarantee you will find a buyer at the price you are willing to sell

Due to the risks noted above, we strongly recommend that investors spread their money across a broad range of investment opportunities. Doing this will reduce the effect of any individual investment under-performing or failing and should therefore reduce your overall risk of financial loss.

Money which is lent to the property developer may be unsecured. Therefore, in case of the failure of Meta Property Developments to repay the debt, the investor will rank equally with all other unsecured creditors.
